Once bitten...

Sat Aug 8, 2009, 11:07 PM
I need some better stuff to work with. Not to mention an idea of what I want to get done before I start doing things. Added a couple things to the scrap bin. Other than that need to make a couple other things while I have the time. Pictures may hopefully follow shortly thereafter. We'll see how it goes.

If pears are out of season, when will they be in season? Lasagna is always good too. What are your plans with pumpkins and squash?
:iconthe-communist-nazi:
I made pumpkin pasta. Pears I think will be season around august, september time. Will have to check on that one. I'll have to get durian next year as well. Wish I could find some good rambutan, but that's not likely. I need to get a either a 400 or a half 4in. pan. Hmm....yeah, those would be a good size, better than the 200 or half 2in. pan. Probably making a soup with the squash, thinking of a pumpkin curry as well. I'll think of something when I see my schedule for the next week. Oh, and I told dad I'd make him a pie.

I thought Rambutan was a Lychee. How different? The 400 and 200 pan... Do you mean like a Wok or something? Or like a baking dish? Pumpkin makes a good chilli. I had a next door neighbor that made a tasty one. I have nevcer cooked squash, but Rika makes a really good stuffed Japanese pumpkin. She fills it with applesauce and raisins and throws it in the oven with a pan of water. You'll have to ask her about it if you have an interest in it.

I don't know, I still just need more time around the house to do stuff of that nature. Saaaaaah, oh well.
